On this occasion, we were approached by a Nigerian client, looking to secure a 65% LTV loan against a £610,000 new build apartment in central London. using our option to have the mortgage provided by the UK company (which also owns the property) and the loan written to the client, they were able to get the best of both worlds by having an onshore property holding vehicle, with the flexibility of an offshore loan.
