RAW Capital Partners is part of an innovative asset management group with its origins and the majority of its team based in Guernsey. The directors have over 100 years combined experience in financial markets from a variety of disciplines.

Investors

We have a variety of investors ranging from European based insurance companies to private investors, pension funds and trust companies.

Ownership

RAW Capital Partners is owned by its management and a consortium of investors that have also invested significant capital to RAW’s Funds. The consortium is led by Capricorn Capital Partners in London which has its roots in Hollard Insurance, the largest privately-owned insurance group in South Africa. Capricorn focuses on private equity investments in the financial services sector including asset advisory businesses and also acts as an investment advisor.

We pride ourselves on being accessible, accountable, and available to investors at all times. We encourage our investors to speak to us regularly, provide monthly statements and regular insights and updates.

Overview

We specialise in mortgage lending secured against UK residential property, to non-UK residents and British expats living around the globe.

We pride ourselves on responding rapidly to enquiries and looking more flexibly than mainstream lenders at individual borrower circumstances. Complex situations are welcome.

Lending preferences

We prefer to lend:

  • Against completed residential property

  • In good quality areas

  • Mostly in major towns and cities in the British Isles

  • On good quality property in a decent state of repair

  • On property with good environmental credentials

Early repayments

No early repayment charges (ERCs) associated with our mortgages. Instead, we charge a simple flat fee for each and every capital repayment.
